QWhy did INIQUE Eye Surgery design special incision methods?
AWe conduct research to produce natural lines that would become loose.
If double Eyelids are stitched too deeply, they will appear unnatural, while if they are stitched in a manner that is too shallow, they will become loose very easily. In order to resolve the two conflicting problems, we divide the double eyelid area into several sections and fixate each of them with different depths and methods.
“NATURAL SKIN CREASE”?
The eyelid has natural skin creases according to the movement of eyes. Non-surgical double eyelids have naturally-folding wrinkles along these skin creases. Accordingly, we designing double eyelids along these natural skin creases to leave no trace of surgery or incision.

Incision Technique
INIQUE’s representative eye surgery produces smooth lines that does not leave any deep scars or trace of stitching by properly adjusting the depth of the double eyelids.

- The gaps between points are wide through the use of 4-5 fixation points.

Incision Technique -
- The front area of the eyes should receive a three-layer fixation to prevent loosening.
- The middle and outer areas should not be fixated too deep to achieve natural folds.
- Adjust the depth of fixation depending on area to provide a line that is not too deep while also preventing loosening.
- 7-9 fixation points are used to have smoother and narrower gaps between points.

What is three-layer fixation?
INIQUE uses three-layer fixation which ties the front area of double eyelids, which is prone to loosening, with the tarsal plate and the edge of upper eyelid, simultaneously.
This method lowers the possibility of the double eyelids loosening on the front area of the eye.

The non-incision technique makes adhesion points, while an incision method makes an adhesion line. As a result, double eyelids created with non-incisional surgery tend to loosen easier than those created with an incisional technique. Natural adhesive technique is the same as the non-incisional surgery. INIQUE uses a High-Density, Non-Incisional Technique, which uses 10 fixation points to prevent the loosening of the double eyelids.

INIQUE Fat-Removing,
Non-Incisional Technique
This method removes fat on the eye through a 4 mm-long minimal incision, together with high dense non-incisional surgery.
Defining the double eyelid line by removing an appropriate amount of fat
If the eyelid has a high concentration of fat, the eye area can look bulged and stuffy.
4 mm-long micro incision to produce minimal scarring
If a non-incisional technique uses long partial incisions, it can leave more noticeable scars than an incision surgery. INIQUE’s fat-removing, non-incisional method limits the length of incisions to 4 mm or shorter, so it leaves almost no scarring.
